Today I made my first ginger tea from scratch and I’m never going back to bags! 😂

Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to lean more into whole, natural remedies lately, so today I finally decided to stop buying the "ginger flavored" tea bags and actually made some real ginger tea from a fresh root I picked up at the market.
Honestly? The difference is insane. Not just the taste (it’s so much spicier and fresher), but I did some deep diving into the benefits while I was sipping on it, and I had no idea just how much of a powerhouse this root is.
How I made it:
I just peeled and sliced about 5-6 thin pieces of fresh ginger, simmered them in 2 cups of water for about 15 minutes, and added a squeeze of lemon and a tiny bit of honey.
Does anyone else have any "add-ins" they love? I’ve heard adding a bit of turmeric or black pepper can level up the anti-inflammatory perks even more. Would love to hear your recipes!
