Eating My Cooking Mistakes Made Me Better

By Charlotte on

I’ve eaten plenty of overseasoned meals during my 25-plus years of cooking. I often couldn’t afford to waste the ingredients, so I ate my mistakes and remembered them. Over time, I learned to season gradually, let flavors develop, and taste as I go. Now I can usually measure by sight and make just a few adjustments. If you’re learning, expect some salty meals, burned onions, and disappointing results. You’ll make fewer mistakes with practice, but every edible failure can teach you something. 🤣 What cooking mistake taught you the most?
