Japan just launched a human washing machine and… I have questions

By Real Ray C on

So I just came across this article from NDTV about Japan unveiling a human washing machine for public use after its big success at Expo 2025 in Osaka and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. According to the report, a company called Science Inc has officially launched this futuristic pod where you literally get washed like laundry. It uses bubbles, AI monitoring, and a full-body cleansing system while you just lie there and let the machine do its thing. Japan really said: “Showers? Overrated.” “Baths? Too slow.” “Let’s automate humans." Honestly, it looks straight out of a sci-fi movie a relaxing one, not the dystopian kind (I hope). People who tried it at the Expo apparently loved it, so now it’s being rolled out for actual public use. I can’t tell if this is genius, terrifying, or the peak of human convenience.
