Anyone else using Canva like a budget Photoshop?

I’m a pretty new designer, and honestly… Canva has been my comfort zone.
I know Photoshop is the “industry standard” and all that, but Canva clicks for me. The layout is clean, the tools are where I expect them to be, and I don’t feel like I’m fighting the software just to get an idea out of my head. Drag, drop, tweak, done. That kind of flow really matters when you’re still learning and building confidence.
I’ve been using Canva for social posts, simple branding, flyers, and even some light photo edits, and every time I think, okay, this is way more powerful than people give it credit for. It’s not Photoshop, but it also doesn’t pretend to be. It lets me focus on design instead of memorizing shortcuts and menus.
I do feel that little pressure sometimes like I’m “cheating” by not using Photoshop yet. But at the same time, I’m actually creating, finishing projects, and enjoying the process. That counts for something.
