Anyone else torn after watching 50 Cent’s new Diddy documentary?

By Real Ray C on

I just finished watching the documentary, and honestly, I’m so torn. I’ve always enjoyed both 50 Cent and P. Diddy’s music. They shaped so much of the early 2000s vibe for me, so seeing them in this kind of story feels strange.
I’ve been following the Diddy case for a while, so I already knew some of the allegations. But hearing everything laid out like that in the documentary really hit different. Some of the stories and footage were honestly hard to watch.
At the same time, I could clearly feel 50 Cent’s fingerprints on the whole thing. The tone, the pacing, the way things were presented… you can tell he had a mission. And because of their long history and beef, part of me kept thinking, “Is this all truth, or is some of it personal?”
But then again some of the accounts in the doc are really serious. If even a portion of it is true, it’s messed up. It’s weird trying to balance being a fan of someone’s music with processing this kind of information about their life.
I’m still trying to understand how I feel. It’s a lot.
