Stranger Things is still the best series for me 😊

I know this might be a hot take for some people, but for me, Stranger Things is still the best series I’ve ever watched. I’ve gone back and forth between it and Breaking Bad a lot, and while I fully respect how well-made Breaking Bad is, I still end up choosing Stranger Things every time.
One big reason is rewatch value. I can rewatch Stranger Things and still feel that same excitement, nostalgia, and emotional pull. The characters feel like people I grew up with, not just characters I watched. With Breaking Bad, it’s amazing television, but it’s heavy. Once you know where it’s going, it doesn’t hit the same way emotionally for me on rewatches.
Another thing is the sense of wonder. Stranger Things mixes sci-fi, horror, friendship, and childhood adventure in a way that feels rare. The Upside Down, the mystery, the music, and the 80s vibe all work together. It feels imaginative in a way that keeps pulling you back in, especially if you love stories that balance darkness with heart.
Breaking Bad is incredibly written and acted, no doubt. But it’s very grounded, very real, and very intense. Stranger Things feels like an experience, something you watch not just for the story, but for how it makes you feel.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about which show is “objectively” better. For me, it’s about connection, rewatchability, and that feeling of being fully pulled into a world. And Stranger Things still wins that battle.
