The film stars Alan Ritchson and Dennis Quaid and follows a group of U.S. Army Ranger trainees whose final training exercise suddenly turns into a fight for survival against a massive otherworldly machine. War Machine basically flips a routine military mission into a full-on sci-fi survival scenario.
From the trailer, it feels like a mix of Predator-style squad survival and giant robot chaos. Apparently the team is deep in Ranger selection training when they realize something is hunting them, and it’s not human.
It just dropped on Netflix today, March 6, so I’m curious if anyone here has watched it yet or plans to.
