The Sons of Anarchy Cast Is Reuniting, But This Is Definitely Not the Sequel I Expected

By Charlotte on

When I first heard Charlie Hunnam was bringing much of the Sons of Anarchy cast back together, I assumed we were getting another spinoff. Then I found out what Legends actually is. Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Jr., Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Theo Rossi are returning, but they're playing fictionalized versions of themselves rather than their old characters. The story brings the cast together at a fan convention more than a decade after *Sons of Anarchy* ended. Things then take a dark turn when a real-world threat starts blurring the line between the actors and the characters they became famous for. Honestly, it sounds strange, but I'm interested. I actually prefer this to another attempt at recreating the original series. Sons of Anarchy had a definitive ending, and I'd rather see the cast do something creative with its legacy than reopen Jax Teller's story. The concept could either be surprisingly clever or turn into nothing more than fan service and nostalgia.
