Dutton Ranch Season 2 Is Happening, But We Might Have a Long Wait

I honestly didn't expect Dutton Ranch to become another show I'd be checking for updates on, but after that Season 1 finale, I'm definitely curious about what's next. The good news is that Paramount+ officially renewed the Yellowstone spinoff for Season 2, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser returning as Beth and Rip. The bad news is that there's still no release date. Production is expected to begin in early 2027, so fans may have quite a wait ahead. What keeps me interested is that Dutton Ranch has managed to give Beth and Rip a new setting instead of simply repeating Yellowstone. They're trying to build a life in South Texas, but trouble seems to follow them wherever they go. After that Season 1 finale, there are also plenty of unanswered questions about where their story goes next. I just hope Season 2 doesn't rely entirely on *Yellowstone* nostalgia. Give Beth and Rip their own story and let the Texas setting actually matter. I'm definitely watching when it returns.
