MobLand Is Coming Back for Season 3, and I'm Glad Tom Hardy Is Staying

I wasn't surprised that MobLand got renewed, but I was a little surprised by the news that Tom Hardy is officially returning for Season 3. Paramount+ has renewed the crime drama before Season 2 even premieres, with Hardy returning as Harry Da Souza alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. There had been a lot of speculation about Hardy's future with the show after reports of behind-the-scenes disagreements. So seeing Paramount+ officially confirm his return is actually a pretty big deal. I'm also interested to see where Season 2 takes the Harrigans. The new season premieres September 18, with episodes releasing weekly, so we're about to find out whether the show can build on what worked in Season 1. I just hope the writers don't start stretching the story simply because the show is successful. Three seasons is plenty of time to tell a good crime story without turning it into another endless gangster franchise.
