November has taught me to breathe again...
By JugglingNothing on
You ever wake up one morning and realize you’ve been rushing through life without actually living it? That’s what this November felt like for me. A quiet, almost gentle reminder that the things I label as “normal” are actually miracles I’ve just grown used to.
I found myself thanking God more often this month not because something huge happened, but because I finally slowed down enough to notice the small things He’s been doing all along. The breath in my lungs. The mornings I rise without pain. The messages from people who still think of me. The fact that I get to see another sunrise, another face I love, another chance to become who I’m meant to be.
We really do take life for granted. We treat tomorrow like a promise instead of the fragile gift it is. I caught myself scrolling through memories and realizing how many moments I thought were ordinary… but now, looking back, they were everything.
I don’t know maybe this is just my heart getting softer, or maybe life has a way of humbling you when you need it most. But this month has reminded me that gratitude changes the way you see the world. It slows everything down. It makes you aware. It makes you breathe deeper.
If you’re reading this, I hope November gave you something too. A lesson, a blessing, a second chance, or maybe just a moment of clarity. And if not, I hope December whispers something gentle to you.
Sometimes, the miracle is simply that we’re still here.
