Don’t let easter sneak up on you this year

By Charlotte on

“Do you have any plans for Easter Sunday?” sounds like a simple question, but most people don’t think about it until it’s already here. Easter has a way of showing up fast. One minute it’s just another week, next thing you know it’s Sunday and you’re either scrambling to make plans or just letting the day pass like any other. If you’re trying to be more intentional with your life, this is one of those moments to actually pause and decide how you want to spend it. It doesn’t have to be anything big or expensive. What matters is that you choose, instead of defaulting. For some people, it’s about faith. Going to church, reflecting, reconnecting spiritually. If that matters to you, plan it ahead instead of rushing or skipping it. For others, it’s about people. Family lunch, checking in on friends, spending time with people you don’t see often. That kind of time doesn’t just happen, you make space for it. And honestly, it can also just be a reset day. Step away from the usual noise. Eat well, slow down, think about where you are in life and where you’re headed. You don’t get many natural pause points like that. The bigger point is this: days like Easter are built-in opportunities to be more present and more deliberate. But if you don’t plan even a little, they slip by unnoticed. Being better isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about paying attention to the moments that already exist and using them well. So if you haven’t thought about it yet, take a few minutes and decide what Easter Sunday is going to look like for you. Not what everyone else is doing. What actually matters to you.
