I'll admit it, I never really followed soccer. I'd hear people talking about the World Cup, but I never understood why they were so invested. That changed over the last few USA matches. The energy, the crowd, the tension every time the ball gets near the goal... it pulled me in more than I expected. I finally understand why so many people say tournament soccer is different. Now I'm genuinely looking forward to the USA vs. Belgium match. It feels like the first real test against a team with a lot of international experience, and I'm curious to see how the U.S. responds after building so much momentum. I'm still learning the game, so I won't pretend to know every player or every rule. But maybe that's part of the fun.
