I Spent Years Looking for the Perfect Diet. What I Needed Was One I Could Stick To

By JugglingNothing on

For a long time, I thought my problem was that I hadn’t found the right diet yet. Keto, fasting, calorie tracking, low carb, low fat… I kept switching between plans hoping one would finally click. What I eventually realized is that the issue wasn’t knowledge. I already knew the basics. The real challenge was consistency. A diet only works if you can actually live with it when life gets busy, stressful, or unpredictable. There isn’t one perfect approach for everyone. What matters more is finding something that helps you stay consistent without feeling like your entire life revolves around food. For me, things started improving when I stopped chasing the “perfect” plan and focused more on what I could realistically maintain. Has anyone else found consistency more important than the specific diet they were following?
