Have you ever reached your wits’ end?

By Real Ray C on

Have you ever felt like you just couldn’t do it anymore? Like even getting out of bed felt impossible? That was me for a long time. Things I loved felt distant, and hope seemed unreachable.

What helped me wasn’t a sudden breakthrough it was small steps. I started by being honest with myself and one safe person. I focused on basics: eating, sleeping, stepping outside. Therapy helped me untangle the lies depression tells you. Medication helped too.

Healing wasn’t linear. Some days were setbacks. But the darkness stopped feeling permanent.

If you’re at your wits’ end: you’re not broken, lazy, or a lost cause. Take one small step. Tell one person. Stay one more day. That’s enough. The way you feel right now will not last forever.
