By Eli Mercer on

Does anyone else get tired of constantly thinking about diabetes? The carbs, medications, alarms, supplies, and numbers can become exhausting. Burnout doesn’t mean you’ve stopped caring. Sometimes it simply means you’ve been carrying too much for too long. Keeping meals simple, automating refills, or asking someone for support may reduce the pressure. It’s also okay to tell your diabetes care team when you’re feeling overwhelmed. What helps you through the days when you need a break but diabetes never takes one?
