Has stretching ever made you feel less stable?

By JugglingNothing on

Stretching can improve or maintain range of motion, but flexibility is only one part of movement. If the muscles cannot comfortably control that range, some positions may feel weak or unsteady. That is why stretching and strength training may work better together. One supports mobility, while the other may help with stability and everyday movement.
Cerebral palsy affects everyone differently, so the right balance is personal. A physical therapist familiar with CP can help adapt exercises around muscle tone, pain, fatigue, and individual goals.
