Arts Program

As part of its enhanced programming, Community Based Services is in a cultural partnership with the Hudson Valley InterArts Center (HVIA). Located in Patterson, NY, the mission of Hudson Valley InterArts is to create a safe and inclusive environment to effectively build community and relationships around artistic practices.

Hudson Valley InterArts aims to support the social and emotional health of community members by fostering inclusivity and community connection through creative and healing arts. We are a meeting place for creating, inspiring, and exchanging artistic expression, and are open to anyone from the community who would benefit from our diverse programming.

The arts disciplines offered at InterArts include:

• Visual arts - painting, sculpting, sewing, crafts, graphic design

• Movement - Dance, yoga, zumba, martial arts & kickboxing

• Ceramics - pottery wheel & hand building

• Relaxation - meditation, writing, journaling, sound bath

• Music - Sound studio, sing-a-long, karaoke, drumming

• Theater - performance & theater games
