Which game had a real impact on your life?

I’ve been thinking about how some games don’t just entertain us, they genuinely shape who we become..

For me, it was Minecraft. I got so deep into modding that it pushed me to learn programming, which eventually led to my career as a game engineer. My entire path started because I wanted to tweak a game I loved.

I’ve heard similar stories from others. One person said World of Warcraft basically carried them through teens. It was their escape, their social circle, and the one place where they felt respected and wanted.
